From May to July 2008 Michele embarked on a nationwide co-headlining tour with fellow soul singer Raheem DeVaughn called the Art of Love Tour; Solange Knowles served as the opening act. In September 2008, Michele performed twice at the Evening of Stars: A Tribute to Patti Labelle.

In mid-2008, Michele began recording for her second album, Epiphany. In January 2009, "Epiphany" was released as the album's lead single. Released on May 5, 2009, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 selling 83,000 copies in its opening week.

1) Keep your style and swagger upscale!

If you are not sure what that is - ask somebody how SYGU does it. Got sneakers? Better dress them up and that DOES NOT mean your best tee shirt! 9th Wonder and DJ Cuzzin B will handle the nostalgic vibe - so no need to come in throwback attire. Got it?

2) Get there early.

EXO is located at the corner of Locust and Compton. There is plenty of parking but its shared with the 4 other clubs within a 1 block radius. Make sure that you come early so you don't spend an hour looking for parking or in line. Remember party is over at 1:30am!

3) Come ready to party!

Never been to a True School party? Here's a hint - you're not there just to listen to the music. Fellas bring your best "Can I get this dance?" and Ladies let your guard down (a little). Its a party! Make sure to enjoy it to the fullest!

This October 17th - 19th -SYGU is linking up with our partners Allusions Productions to help host another classic weekend in the Windy City. Last year was a HUGE success and we expect nothing less this year.

A lot of people have been getting @ us about "Whats next, whats next!??!!". Well everyone just needs to fall back and relax - OK?!. Rest assured SYGU is working hard to bring you our next latest and greatest event. These things take time folks. Careful planning and proper execution is all that is setting us apart from the fray - so we are going to keep at. If it ain't broke.....

Being on the scene we make sure to get a lot of feedback from you all about what's going on/ what you like/ what you hate. Lately, the word on the street is that the nightlife this summer overall hasn't been that impressive. There have been weekends with nothing to do (for those that steer clear of the "usual" spots) - and on some of the weekends when there is something to do - there has been poor turnouts.

So we ask you.. What do you think the problem is? Do you not like the events that are being put on? Is the economy crisis and gas prices just to much to bear going out at all? Are you just tired? What's the word people?
